Resources for instructors of Rhetoric courses.
Rhetoric Database
The Rhetoric Program has an Instructor Resources folder on Box@Illinois that houses the instructor handbook, orientation materials for new instructors, sample syllabi and assignments, information on technology resources, and much more. All instructors should have sharing permissions to this Box folder; if you do not have permission, contact the Associate Director of Rhetoric.
If you need help navigating these materials or finding something specific, please contact a Rhetoric staff member.
Academic Integrity
The Rhetoric Program follows the University Code of Student Conduct for Academic Integrity and Procedure: Article 1, Part 4.
Instructors, your primary contact in the Rhetoric Program on issues of academic integrity is the Associate Director of Rhetoric. Please also consult the materials in the Plagiarism and FAIR Resources folder in the Rhetoric Database for information on reporting procedures and more.
Students, please contact the Associate Director of Rhetoric with any questions.
Teaching Special Sections
Rhetoric 105 courses are often offered in Weston Exploration, Global Crossroads, and Unit One, which are University of Illinois Living-Learning Community programs. Instructors may request to teach one of these sections when filling out their staffing forms.
