Biography
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where I received my B.A. in English from Regis University and my M.A. in English from the University of Colorado Boulder. I am passionate about learning with my students and helping them engage with rhetoric, English literature, and American culture. When I am not busy teaching, writing, or reading, I enjoy baking, hiking, riding my skateboard, and complimenting peoples' dogs.
Research Interests
Puerto Rican literature, Jewish studies, postcolonial studies, decadent literature, gothic fiction, phenomenology and continental philosophy, queer theory, disability studies.
