Biography

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where I received my B.A. in English from Regis University and my M.A. in English from the University of Colorado Boulder. I am passionate about helping students find interesting ways to engage with rhetoric, English literature, and American culture. When I am not busy teaching or reading, I enjoy baking, hiking, and complimenting peoples' dogs.

Research Interests

Puerto Rican literature, Jewish studies, postcolonial studies, decadent literature, gothic fiction, phenomenology and continental philosophy, queer theory, disability studies.
