Students, have you taken a course with an outstanding teacher? Teachers, do you have a colleague whose work in the classroom you would like to see rewarded? If so, please nominate them for an undergraduate teaching award.

Every year, the English Department bestows awards on its own outstanding teaching assistants and instructors/lecturers, and it also nominates outstanding undergraduate teachers (professors, instructors/lecturers, and teaching assistants) for campus teaching awards. The English Department has a history of winning more teaching awards than any other department in the university.

If you would like to nominate one or more of our dedicated teachers, you can:

• pick up a paper form in Room 200 of the English Building, or
• use our simple web-based form

Instructors in Business & Technical Writing, Creative Writing, English, Rhetoric, and the Writer's Workshop are all eligible.
