Students, have you taken a course with an outstanding teacher? Teachers, do you have a colleague whose work in the classroom you would like to see rewarded? If so, please nominate them for an undergraduate-teaching award.
Every year, the English Department bestows awards on its own outstanding teaching assistants and instructors/lecturers, and it also nominates outstanding undergraduate teachers (professors, instructors/lecturers, and teaching assistants) for campus teaching awards. The English Department has a history of winning more teaching awards than any other department in the university.
If you would like to nominate one or more of our dedicated teachers, you can:
- pick up a paper form in Room 200 of the English Building, or
- use our simple web-based form
Instructors in Rhetoric, Creative Writing, English Language and Literature, the Writer's Workshop, and Film are all eligible.
Please note that these nominations are for undergraduate teaching only.
