Biography
Matthew Fash is a trans poet and witch native to Illinois. They hold a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Indiana State University. They've had work appear in new words press, Best New Poetry from the Midwest 2019, and Doubleback Review among others.
Research Interests
My work is interested in the intersections between witchcraft/folk magic/occultism and transness as an experience of the body and spirit, as well as how the heritage of place informs mystic practices and self-identity.
