Biography

Liz Harms is a poet and intersectional feminist from Arkansas. She is the Managing Editor of Ninth Letter, the award-winning literature and arts magazine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Liz’s full-length poetry manuscript, OBJECT, was chosen by Juan Felipe Herrara as a finalist for the 2023 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry from Fresno State University. Her poetry was awarded an Honorable Mention by Tarfia Faizullah in Nimrod International's 2023 Pablo Neruda Prize. Her work appears or is forthcoming from Prairie Schooner, The Journal, Arkansas International, Nimrod, Michigan Quarterly Review, Crab Creek Review, and elsewhere.
