Originally from Oklahoma, I received my B.A. in English as well as my M.A. in Composition, Rhetoric, and Literacy from the University of Oklahoma. My dissertation, "The Divergent Archive and Androcentric Counterpublics: Public Rhetorics, Memory, and Archives" critically explores how hegemonic Men's Rights groups attempt to transfer collective memories of (imagined) marginalization to mainstream publics through the development of archives and other rhetorical resources. My broader research interests include writing center studies, spatial rhetorics, and writing program administration.
